Basket of Flowers Quilt Coat
This coat was made from a vintage quilt. The flowers and basket handles were appliquéd by hand. The quilting stitches were done by hand, as well, and the rest of the design was stitched on a sewing machine. The quilt itself is mid to heavyweight, which makes this coat a great piece for late fall and winter.
